It takes a lot of time to build floats, plan, and recruit.<\/p>\n<p>The parade will start\u00a0at 11:00 a.m. on\u00a0Monday, January 21, 2019. It will start on 7th Avenue between 3rd and 4th Streets leading onto Gulf to Lake ending at 7th Avenue in Crystal River Florida.<\/p>\n<p>The parade will be followed by a commemoration at the Copeland Community Park. All who are involved are asked to stay and fellowship with the community and participants.<\/p>\n<p>Registration deadline is December 21, 2018. Both the registration form and disclaimer must be filled out completely and turned in by the deadline.<\/p>\n<p>The theme of the parade will be &#8220;Share the Dream.&#8221; All decorations need to be appropriate with the theme of the parade. As well as properly attached and disposed of at the end of the event.<\/p>\n<p>Creativity and music are encouraged and welcomed by all participants.<\/p>\n<p>The atmosphere of the parade is set by all who participate. Excitement and joy can easily be transmitted to the viewers, so choose wisely and stay with the theme.<\/p>\n<p>Some rules for parade participants are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Walkers in the parade are to hand out candy, candy should not be thrown.<\/li>\n<li>Any entries that feature children must have an adult chaperone.<\/li>\n<li>All horses that participate must have a clean-up crew.<\/li>\n<li>Anyone who is participating in the float must sign a disclaimer.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For more information, contact Dan Epstein at (352) 613-4478 or George Ann Jackson at (352) 212-2665.<\/p>\n<p>Applications to participate in the parade can be downloaded <a href=\"\/downloads\/Dr.%20Martin%20Luther%20King%2C%20Jr.%20Parade%20%20%20%202019.pdf\">HERE<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>You can mail completed forms to George Washington Carver Community Center, Inc. at P.O.
