The award was based on the 2017 Comprehensive Annual Financial Report.<\/p>\n<p>The Comprehensive Annual Financial Report includes the financial\u00a0statements from the Clerk Of Courts, Sheriffs\u00a0Department, Tax Collector, Board of County Commissioners, Property Appraisers, Supervisor Of Elections, as well as other independent agencies from the county.<\/p>\n<p>The Government Finance\u00a0Officers Association states that the award is of the highest recognition for the specific area of financial\u00a0recording and accounting.
